The Gwendolyn Brooks library offers valuable resources with limited access for all alumni. However, current CSAA members unlock even more! As a current, active CSAA member, you can opt into borrowing privileges for library materials. Simply have the Access Services Librarian has confirm your membership and set up your library user account.
Please note, borrowing privileges are for to Gwendolyn Brooks Library materials only; they do not include iShare or Interlibrary Loan requests or off-campus access to subscription databases.

Save on Campus Parking
Available to CSAA Members
Make your visits to campus easier and more affordable! CSAA members receive a $1 discount on daily parking and a $40 discount on an annual parking pass with proof of membership (digital card or printed copy). For the annual parking discount, you must print your membership card and submit it with your parking pass application to the CSU Cashier's Office on the second floor of the Cook Administration Building on campus.
JDC Multipurpose Fitness Center Access
Available to CSAA Members
As a CSAA member, you have access to CSU鈥檚 multipurpose health facility! You can enjoy features like the indoor/outdoor track, pool (currently under construction), tennis courts, fitness machines, and free weights, all designed to support your fitness goals. CSAA digital membership card required upon check in.
Fitness center hours have expanded!

- Open Gym 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM (when not in use for a University event)
- Saturday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Digital CSAA Membership Cards
Membership in the Chicago State Alumni Association (CSAA) now comes with a digital membership card, downloadable to your smartphone's Apple or Google wallet. There is also a print option available.
During summer 2024, all current members were sent their digital membership card to download via the email address we have on file, and all new membership cards will be emailed in the days after registration. If you did not get your email, check your Spam folder. Its subject line is Your New CSAA Membership Card. If you still cannot find it, contact the CSAA office at alumni@csu.edu.
